BoostCV is operated by Novordo LLC ("Novordo," "we," "us," or "our"). We provide an AI-powered resume tailoring service accessible at this website. Questions about this policy can be directed to contact@novordo.com.
2. Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your name and profile picture provided by Google.
Resume data. We store the resume content you enter or upload, including contact details, work history, education, skills, and any other information you choose to include.
Job descriptions. When you use the tailoring feature, we receive the job description text or URL you provide.
Usage data. We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps for security and performance purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the BoostCV service.
- To process your resume and job descriptions through AI models (currently Anthropic's Claude) to generate tailored resume content and cover letters.
- To authenticate your account and maintain session security.
- To respond to support requests or bug reports.
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. AI Processing
Resume tailoring and parsing features are powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you use these features, your resume content and job description are sent to Anthropic's servers for processing. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by their Privacy Policy. We do not use your data to train AI models.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a secured database managed via Supabase. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your data is limited to authenticated sessions tied to your account. No third party can access your resume data without your consent.
6. Cookies and Authentication
We use cookies strictly for authentication purposes — to keep you signed in across sessions. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data directly within the app or by contacting us.
- Delete your account and all associated data by emailing contact@novordo.com.
- Export your resume data (available as PDF or DOCX from within the app).
8. Data Retention
We retain your account and resume data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
9. Children's Privacy
BoostCV is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
