1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BoostCV (the "Service"), operated by Novordo LLC ("Novordo," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BoostCV is an AI-powered tool that helps users create, manage, and tailor resumes to specific job descriptions. Features include resume editing, AI-assisted tailoring, cover letter generation, and document export (PDF and DOCX).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@novordo.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used for fraudulent, abusive, or illegal purposes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Upload or input content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service beyond normal use.
Use the Service to generate misleading or false resume information intended to deceive employers.
Abuse the AI features through automated or bulk requests that degrade service for other users.

6. Your Content

You retain full ownership of the resume content, job descriptions, and other data you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant Novordo a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not sell it to third parties.

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses AI (Anthropic's Claude) to generate tailored resume content and cover letters. AI-generated output is provided as a starting point and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI-generated content before using it in job applications or sharing it with third parties.

8. Beta Service and Pricing

The Service is currently offered free of charge during a limited beta period. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or change pricing at any time. We will provide reasonable notice before any changes take effect. Continued use after a pricing change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All software, design, trademarks, and other materials comprising the Service (excluding Your Content) are owned by Novordo LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Novordo LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of employment opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Novordo LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion by emailing contact@novordo.com. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with or without notice.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
